About This Vehicle
Started with a Local Oregon rig spent many years with one owner who did the v8 conversion in the 90s then a 5spd with long range 54 gallon fuel tank, We acquired in 2023 went thru all the major components for an epic road trip. Added a small lift, solar setup, 12v cooler, built out the rear for sleeping of 3 young girls and a roof top tent for adults. In 2025 with a 55 year old fj55 we shipped the landcruiser from Hawaii after starting our road trip officially on March 5th 2025 at south point Hawaii. (Southern most point in the US) shipped it back to Oregon in April and flew out to start the lower 48. July 1st entered Canada after making our way across the south up the east and back west across the north of the lower 48. Then up thru Alberta/BC/Yukon into NWT and finally reaching Alaska along the Top of the World HWY. Official ending to the road trip at North Pole, Alaska on July 5th 2025. After 15,679 miles. Then continuing back thru Canada to Oregon official mileage of the trip was 18,834 miles.
